Through the combination of collage and studio practice, archival photographs of ancient antiquities and gay men’s naked selfies; ‘Masc4Masc’ is an exploration of queer identity and its forgotten histories of shame and violence, histories that have been overtaken by contemporary narratives of gay normalisation.
