Spoon

Spoon is a cautionary tale following a man with a penchant for cereal. We observe
him navigating his world as he finds himself without any of his most useful utensils, his spoons. Inspired by 1970’s UK childrens’ programmes like Mr Benn and Rhubarb and Custard, I wanted to play with this “Cel-like” 2D hand-drawn animation through a more adult lens. Doing so with the aim of exploring the contradictions that may arise as a result. I had so much fun undertaking this project and investigating the limits of spoon- based puns, and I really hope this is conveyed in the final product.
