Gervais: The Comical Maestro

In this 15-minute radio documentary, we explore the life and career of Ricky Gervais, a British comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director who is perhaps most well-known for co-creating, co-writing, and acting in the British television sitcoms The Office (2001– 2003), Extras (2005–2007), An Idiot Abroad (2010–2012), Life’s Too Short (2011–2013), Derek (2012–2014) and After Life (2019–2022). With this in mind, many could argue that he has paved the way for multiple observational pieces of humour as well as bring us groundbreaking Stand-Up shows including Humanity (2018), Supernature (2022), and Armageddon (2023).
