The theme of TOKYO 2020 is the representation of traditional and modern landscape of Japan. To represent the traditional side of Japan, taken from Japanese traditional patters, famous old paintings and traditional Kimono cloth. For the modern side of Japan, I used photos of Tokyo which were taken by myself. Compared to the first Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964, the city hugely developed and the change is obvious on our eyes through seeing the landscape of the city. To show the contrast with traditional side, I used the new symbol of Tokyo called Tokyo Sky Tree, which is the highest building in Japan now (634m), and the world most complicated tube map to introduce modern side of the city. The logo on the next page is the landscape of Shinjuku, the central Tokyo, where has the world’s busiest station.
