The First Tour

This is a semi-fictional project as the response to my personal queer identity practices. Based on my family album and mixing with poor images (defended by Hito Steyerl) rescued from my iPhone trash album, collected postcards, stickers and found objects, I, for the first time, raise the courage to use myself as the material for my video work.

The narrative begins with the wedding of my parents, passes through the relationship between my parents and me and enters into the documents about my thinking and practice in gender and politics since my teenage. It’s about the archive and body as archive, and also, myself as performer and author at the same time.
