The script centres around the characters Benjamin and Francesca, both of whom are in their mid-20’s. One night they are in attendance of a dinner party hosted by Benjamin’s sister, Lydia. After suffering the dire cooking of Lydia’s other half, Will, they leave in high spirits. Francesca, in the heat of the moment, proposes, surprised and astonished, Benjamin admits he had to been planning to pop the question. They both accept, joyfully. However, things take a turn as the in-love couple are struck by a speeding car whilst crossing the road...
