I always prefer taking photos with my phone. When I take photos with my camera, I am constantly reminded that I am a photographer and people in the street view me differently because of my camera. However, I prefer to see myself as an observer living in the world and connected
to it, rather than distanced from the world by a camera. With my phone I can take photos anytime I find something interesting - no one will notice me taking these photos until they see them, then they will see the world as observers too.This year I started to review old images I took while in China, but now my thoughts are more critical and political. I turned these images into cutout pictures in order to express my new thoughts about these old images. For this project I have combined many different photos together, in order to share my world with the audience. Welcome to my world everyone!
