ROOTLESS

I always feel drawn to photograph my friends. I think the intimacy and the certain kind of vulnerability of that moment is what it is about for me. I always leave the shoot feeling incredibly connected to whoever I was shooting. For this project, I wanted to capture some of the people in my life who have become like a second family to me here in London. These people have become a second set of roots for me, tying me to this country that was so strange three years ago. I owe my best memories to them, so I thought I should share some of them, and hopefully those memories and moments translate to whoever sees them. Call your friends!
