GIRLS CAN’T MIX is a paradox. Girls CAN mix however female DJs don’t always get their due in a patriarchal industry. GIRLS CAN’T MIX is a plat- form celebrating House and Techno female DJs all over the world,
fuelled by my love of House and Techno music, along with the lack of recognition for female DJs and producers within the industry. Throughout the site you can explore a range of DJs, find out more about where they are from, how they got into DJ’ing and where you can catch them playing next.

There’s no shortage of women who can hold their own behind the turntables and musical ability has nothing to do with gender, so it is important that we continue to celebrate female DJs and that is what GIRLS CAN’T MIX aims to do.
