Brakeless London is an exploration of the fixed gear cycling subculture focusing in on the cyclists who choose to ride brakeless bikes.
Brakeless bikes have been in the news recently for their involvement with the Charlie Alliston case and the potential dangers they pose on the streets.
The history of these bikes and the fixed gear subculture is not widely known or understood so I spoke to academics, YouTubers, bike messen- gers and more to show another side to the world of fixed gear.
